Description

We see activities at the ferry terminal at Newcastle, including a car being winched from a ship, which is followed by shots of Bergen in Norway. The apprentices then travel from the port to Flam by ship and then walk for three days to Finse. They then catch a train from Finse to Oslo where they visit the Vigeland sculpture park. Finally, the trainees travel back to the UK via Oslo.

Male and female trainees at Accles and Pollock had the opportunity to travel abroad on trips that were subsidised by the company. This trip was led by Ralph Gordon of the personnel department at A & P.
