Description

The rally at Donington Park was an opportunity for owners to get together, show off their cars and hunt for spare parts. Richard Hudson-Evans talks to MG owners and also Alan Curtis, the Managing Director of Aston Martin who are hoping to save MG. He commented that there had been 'many a slip between cup and lip'.

Tony Maycock visits the Lucas test track at Honiley in Warwickshire to see trials for a number of home made electric vehicles. The aim was to see which car could travel the furthest distance in two hours in a car powered by a standard car battery. He talked to two drivers about their cars, one of whom had invented a unique gearbox.
