We see crowds of employees, officials and police officers standing outside the Lotus works prior to the arrival. From a high vantage point we see the royal cars arriving at the factory. The Queen Mother is met outside the building and walks inside. Inside the shoe factory she is given a tour as operators stand by their machines. She shakes hands with various workers and tries out the factory conveyor system. Back outside from the high vantage point we see the Queen Mother meeting another line of staff (there are ground level cutaway shots). We then see the Queen Mother getting back into the royal Daimler and being driven away.
