The film begins with views of the English Channel taken from the ferry 'Cote D'Argent'. We then see shots in Gstaad showing horse drawn sledges and a typical snow covered Alpine town. We then see holidaymakers on the terrace of the Park Hotel and views of skiing lessons, ice skating on a lake outside the hotel and curling. Finally there are views of a downhill ski race.
