Description

The film demonstrates the dos and don'ts of operating the Manlove Super Gap industrial ironing machine. There is advice on how to pair operators and a suggestion that operators need a sense of rhythm to load the machine with sheets at which point the film cuts to a group of women dancing the twist. There is also advice on correct posture whilst feeding sheets into the ironing machine.

The archive only holds this title as a b/w cutting copy. The director listed by the BFI was Ken Gamble. The Manlove Alliott factory was known as the Bloomsgrove Works and was on Ilkeston Road at Radford. It closed around 1969.
