The money has been spent on a new kidney dialysis machine called the CAPD which can be used by patients in their own homes. Doug Carnegie spoke to Dr Michael about the problems and to kidney patient Frank O’Donnell who has been told that he cannot have a CAPD machine and must continue to attend hospital twice a week for his treatment.
