An inter-title introduces the film of a miniature railway owned by Captain J. A. Holder at his home 'Keeping House' near Beaulieu in Hampshire (which had previously been at Broome in Worcestershire). The film was shot by W.J. Bassett-Lowke in May 1936. His Northampton based firm was a prominent maker of miniature and model engineering. We see views of the railway in operation in the garden. There are also shots of Captain Holder driving a veteran De Dion car and a miniature traction engine. Following these shots there are views of an indoor 'O' gauge model railway layout (likely to be the one owned by Charles Wade at Snowshill Manor in Gloucestershire).
