A family home in Codsall, Staffordshire, has been overrun by bees. Opening shots show the outside of a house and then we cut inside to reveal hundreds of dead bees, which have been exterminated by gas.
The owner of the house describes how they have been plagued by bees and that they believe they have been coming in through a crack in the wall above a power point.
He says a beekeeper came and took a brick out of an old fireplace and the bees were then coming through in there hundreds. He says it’s been difficult with his 9 month old daughter in the house so they went to stay at his mother-in-law’s house.
The reporter asks how he feels about honey and the man replies that this episode has put him off for life. Final shots from outside the house show him sweeping the window sill with a pan and small brush and throwing the dead bees out of the window.
