Description

We see cars leaving Birmingham (possibly from the Jewish school and community hall on St Luke's Road, Edgbaston). At Lilleshall in Shropshire we see the group in the grounds of the house, in the playground, riding the miniature railway, trying out archery and shots of a group of adults swimming. We also see a jazz band playing.

The next section shows a cricket match titled boys v managers. We then see an inspection of the Jewish Lads' Brigade of the Birmingham Cadet Corps on 13 January 1935. In a drill hall (in poor light) the boys are inspected by the Lord Mayor of Birmingham Alderman S.J. Grey and the officer in charge of the Royal Warwickshire Regiment Colonel A.E. Docker.

The final short section of the reel shows an aircraft from the Midland Aero Club being started and taxiing across a field (at Castle Bromwich?) The aeroplane is a De Haviland Puss Moth.
