Description

We see intertitles throughout. We see shots of the Auxilary Fire Service marching over the bridge at Bewdley, Worcestershire and taking part in fire service exercises with a water pump. Next we see shots of the men using the River Severn to pump water through a hose and shots of them spraying water into a field.

This is followed by shots of Bewdley in August of people and traffic on the bridge and rowing boats on the river . Next we see shots of a campsite next to a farm house. This is followed by shots of a fancy dress parade of children in costume in a street in Bewdley and a playing field (we see tents in the background). This is followed by shots of a canal, a horse, boats, a lock and a boy fishing.
