Description

We open with views taken from a ship at sea. Next in a coastal town we see narrow streets, a woman cleaning windows of a house and a view of the Lloyd Hotel (with Nazi flag visible). A group sit at a café table and there are views of a harbour with small boats flying Nazi flags. We continue with shots taken from a small motor boat at sea. The next section shows a bustling port followed by shots of a glass-roofed tourist coach and a modernist block of flats. Local children pose for the camera and play in a sandpit. Back on board a ship we pass a sailing ship. Continuing in colour we see groups of people sitting at tables in a garden followed by views on board another ship including the Captain holding a sextant and on the bridge. Next a couple walk through a town passing floral displays in a park and sitting at a street café. They also walk in the gardens of a large house and there are views from a funicular railway. For the final section we are on board a steamer leaving the port of Lindau in Bavaria with views of Lake Constance.
