Description

Bev Smith interviews Police Supt. Derek Shentall, Sub-Divisional Police Commander, about the numbers of young offenders in the area contributing to the very high crime rate figures. Interview with Mrs Cannaby, Secretary of Nottingham Legion for the Housebound, about the help the organisation gives to families in the area, particularly residents being terrorised in the flats. There are shots of Mrs Cannaby calling on a flat victim. This is followed by an interview with Rev. Roy Catchpole, curate of the parish re the problems, including drug addiction, prostitution, vandalism and gangs.
